Behold. believe. become.

Malik Murray is a pastor, preacher, and ministry leader committed to helping people see Christ clearly, understand Scripture deeply, and live lives shaped by the presence of God.

Born and raised in South Florida, Malik came to faith in Christ at the age of eleven, when the Lord began to reshape his life through the truth of the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.

At sixteen, he was asked to preach by his pastor, and during the process of praying through, studying for, and writing his first sermon, Malik sensed God’s call on his life. Since then, his desire has remained simple: to help people love God deeply, know Him biblically, and grow in enduring devotion to Christ.

To continue growing in the faithful exposition of Scripture and the broader work of pastoral ministry, Malik completed a Bachelor’s degree in Ministerial Studies and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Biblical Exposition at Liberty University’s Rawlings School of Divinity.

Malik is grateful to serve Christ and His church alongside his wife, Christina—his closest friend, greatest encourager, and the person he gets to do all of this with. Together, they are committed to loving each other well, serving the church faithfully, and building a life that honors God.

When he is not studying, praying, or preparing, Malik enjoys reading, investing in the lives of young adults in his church community, and spending time with family and friends—and yes, occasionally unwinding with a good video game.

A Core Ministry Ethos

At the heart of my ministry is a simple conviction: God must remain at the center of all things.

I believe the church is healthiest when its life is shaped not first by human preference, cultural pressure, or the pursuit of relevance, but by the glory of God revealed in Jesus Christ through the Scriptures. For that reason, I understand ministry to be fundamentally theocentric. The goal is not merely to gather people or inspire them for a moment, but to help them see God rightly, respond to Him faithfully, and be formed by His truth over time.

This conviction shapes the framework that has become central to my ministry: Behold. Believe. Become. I believe transformation begins with what we behold. Human beings are always being formed by whatever holds their attention and captures their affections. Before we can live rightly, we must see rightly. Before belief is strengthened and conduct is transformed, the eyes of the heart must be directed toward Christ. Right becoming grows out of right believing, and right believing is strengthened by right beholding.

Because of this, I have grown increasingly concerned with forms of ministry that are overly shaped by seeker sensitivity, consumer assumptions, and the logic of comfort. While wisdom, clarity, and hospitality matter deeply, the church cannot afford to center itself on human preference. Worship is not first about what we get from God, but about what He is due. Discipleship is not a matter of spiritual convenience, but of surrender, devotion, and formation. When the church is taught to prize comfort above reverence, it often produces people who are inspired for a moment but unprepared for suffering, confusion, or challenge.

I believe the church must continue to move toward a deeper and more resilient form of discipleship, one rooted in Scripture, anchored in the character of God, and formed through reverent worship and faithful teaching. In a moment when many are drifting, doubting, or deconstructing, believers need more than borrowed language and inherited habits. They need a vision of God robust enough to sustain them in real life. They need discipleship that can withstand disappointment, intellectual pressure, cultural instability, and spiritual dryness because it has been built on truth rather than trend.

This is what shapes my approach to preaching, writing, and pastoral ministry. I want to help cultivate believers and churches marked by clarity, conviction, reverence, and depth—people who behold Christ clearly, believe His Word fully, and become more faithfully conformed to His image.

Biblical Preaching and Pastoral Teaching

The primary work of this ministry is carried out through biblical preaching, theological reflection, and pastoral teaching. Whether through sermons, writing, or serving churches and ministry gatherings, the goal remains the same: to help believers see Christ clearly through the Scriptures and grow in faithful devotion to Him.

Alongside preaching, I am also passionate about encouraging and strengthening pastors and ministry leaders, helping cultivate churches that are theologically grounded, spiritually vibrant, and oriented toward the presence and glory of God.

Statement Of Faith

This ministry is rooted in historic, orthodox Christianity and grounded in the infallible, inspired, and authoritative Word of God. I believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are fully trustworthy and sufficient for knowing God, understanding salvation, and faithfully living the Christian life.

I believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died in our place for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in glory. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Through the regenerating and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, believers are forgiven, transformed, and continually conformed into the image of Christ.

I believe the Church exists to glorify God through worship, prayer, faithful preaching, discipleship, communion, and mission. I believe the Holy Spirit is still active and present within the Church today, empowering believers, producing spiritual fruit, and distributing gifts according to His will, drawing people into deeper communion with Christ. At the same time, all spiritual experience, revelation, and practice must remain submitted to the authority of Scripture and centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ.

The Christian life is not sustained by personality, trends, or cultural relevance. It is sustained by truth, reverence, and a clear vision of Christ revealed in the Scriptures. My desire is to help people behold Christ clearly, believe His Word deeply, and become more faithfully conformed to His image.
